Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Tropical Miles website and booking services (“Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

These Terms apply to all users, including browsers, customers, and registered account holders.

Tropical Miles is a private travel concierge and booking platform operated from Malé, Republic of Maldives. We act as an intermediary between travellers and accommodation providers, experience operators, and transfer services. We do not own or operate any property, vessel, or experience listed on our platform.

• All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by the relevant property or operator.
• A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of our written confirmation and the required deposit.
• Prices quoted are in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated, and are subject to change until a booking is confirmed.
• Some properties and operators apply additional taxes, fees, or service charges (e.g., Maldives Green Tax, Tourism Goods & Services Tax) that are the responsibility of the traveller.

• Deposits and payments are as specified in your booking confirmation.
• We accept major credit/debit cards and bank transfers. Payment details are provided at checkout.
• All transactions are encrypted and processed securely. We do not store payment card details.
• Final balances are typically due 30 days prior to arrival unless otherwise agreed.

Cancellation policies vary by property and operator. The applicable policy will be communicated at the time of booking and is binding. General guidelines:

• More than 60 days before arrival: Full deposit refund (less processing fees)
• 30–60 days before arrival: 50% of total booking value forfeited
• Less than 30 days / no-show: 100% of total booking value forfeited

Tropical Miles service fees are non-refundable. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance.

We strongly recommend all travellers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and personal liability prior to travel. Tropical Miles accepts no liability for costs arising from the absence of adequate travel insurance.

You are solely responsible for ensuring you hold valid travel documents, meet visa requirements, and comply with health and entry regulations for the Republic of Maldives and any transit countries. Tropical Miles accepts no liability for any failure to meet these requirements.

Tropical Miles acts as an agent for third-party suppliers. We are not responsible for:

• Acts or omissions of any property, operator, or service provider
• Natural disasters, government actions, or other force majeure events
• Personal injury, illness, death, loss of property, or any consequential loss not caused by our direct negligence

Our aggregate liability to you in any circumstances is limited to the total amount paid by you for the booking in question.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree not to share your account or use another person's account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

All content on the Tropical Miles website — including text, images, logos, and design — is owned by or licensed to Tropical Miles. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malé, Maldives.

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
